MES PTO AUCTION - Our November 17th Auction was a huge success. Approximately $10,000 was raised for the PTO to support students and staff at MES. Thanks to all who worked on the auction committee, and to all who came to the auction and supported our school!

Thank you for all the help and support this year. We are planning for the March Reading Night on March 20th and continuing to prepare for next year as well. Every parent in the MES community is automatically a member of our PTO and plays an important role in everything we do. We are still continuing to look for Board Members and Committee Chairs for next year. The PTO cannot continue to serve MES families and staff without your help.

What's New this month at MES....
- The process for hiring a new principal for MES is underway. A group of parents, staff, and school board members has been formed for this process. The new principal will be named at the March 25th school board meeting and will begin his/her duties on July 1st.
- The Redistricting Plan has been approved for next year. If your child's school changes with the redistricting plan, and you wish to keep your child at MES, you must notify the school by March 1st.
- The school board has approved Full Day kindergarten for next year. Kindergarten Roundup will be held on Thursday, April 24th at MES. Please return the roundup form or call the office to register your child for kindergarten.
